Former lead vocalist of rock band Divinyls, the group that released the hits "Science Fiction" and "I Touch Myself."
She was imprisoned for three months for singing in the streets as a teenager.
She and Divinyls were inducted into the ARIA Hall of Fame in 2006.
She married drummer Charley Drayton in 1999.
She was originally cast to play Judy Garland in the original touring production of The Boy from Oz.
