Harvard psychoanalyst who helped to develop the Thematic Apperception Test, a psychological instrument that uses pictures to reveal a person's core needs. She is also known for her lengthy love affair with fellow psychologist Henry Murray.
During the 1918 flu outbreak, she worked in New York City as a nurse.
She was a painter as well as a psychologist, and her artwork was featured prominently in the Thematic Apperception Test.
She married William Morgan in 1919. They had a son, Thomas.
