Chris Tamer

Retired hockey player best remembered for his days as a defenceman for NHL teams like the Pittsburgh Penguins and Atlanta Thrashers. He also competed for the U.S. National Team at the 1999 and 2002 Ice Hockey World Championships.
He played at the University of Michigan for four seasons before playing with the Cleveland Lumberjacks, the minor league team of the Penguins.
During his time in Atlanta, he and his wife co-founded the Tamer's Time Out for Kids organization, which allowed disabled children to attend Thrashers home games.
He married a woman named Keely.
He was teammates with centre Ray Ferraro in Atlanta.
