Retired left winger who played for numerous teams during his NHL career, including the Colorado Avalanche, with whom he won the 1995-96 Stanley Cup. He later made Stanley Cup Final appearances with the Washington Capitals and Calgary Flames.
He played minor hockey for his hometown team, the Wawa Flyers.
He was suspended for fifty games for intentionally stepping on Jarkko Ruutu's leg with his skate in December 2007.
His father, John, is a member of the Ojibwe Native American tribe.
He won the 1995-96 Stanley Cup alongside Avalanche teammate Joe Sakic, who led the NHL in scoring that season.
