He grew up listening to Elvis and Roy Orbison records, which later inspired his own music.
He uses a one-of-a-kind Gibson guitar to perform.
His mother Dorothy was a potato chip factory worker and his father, Joe Isaak, was a forklift driver.
Isaak's songs "Gone Ridin'" and "Livin' for Your Lover" were both featured in David Lynch's movie Blue Velvet.
