British actor who landed the role of the father to the title characters in the show Topsy and Tim. He was previously well known for his part in Lunch Monkeys.
He trained as an actor at Manchester Metropolitan University, but left school during his third year after getting a job offer at the Royal Exchange in the Marriage of Figaro.
His role in Lunch Monkeys earned him a Royal Television Society Award North West nomination. He has performed on stage and for radio, including recording a BBC Radio 4 series titled Cottonopolis.
He is from Manchester, England.
He was the television dad of Joshua Lester and Jocelyn Macnab in Topsy and Tim.
