Drummer who has earned credits on a litany of high-profile albums for pop and R&B stars, including with Adele on her Grammy-winning album 21. In March 2016, he was ranked #95 on Rolling Stone's list of the 100 Greatest Drummers of All Time.
He attended Howard University, where he began drumming professionally. His first major professional relationship was playing for R&B band Mint Condition.
He has amassed more than 160,000 followers to his chrisdaddydave Instagram account. He was the credited drummer on Justin Bieber's 2015 triple platinum album Purpose.
His father was also a drummer.
He was featured on D'Angelo's 2014 album Black Messiah as a principle drummer.
