Chinese diver who won gold medals in the women's 10m platform and 10m synchronized platform at the 2008 Beijing Olympics.
She grew up in Jiangsu, China and began swimming and diving at a very young age.
She was the first Chinese female diver who claimed all the gold medals in women's platform events in the Olympic Games, World Cup and World Championships.
She was raised as an only child in Jiangsu, China.
She took home gold at the 2008 Olympics when swimmer Michael Phelps won a remarkable 6 golds.
