Pro safety who played for the Dallas Cowboys, winning two Super Bowls and garnering three Pro Bowl selections during his 12-year career.
He was a standout baseball and football player at North Augusta High School in South Carolina.
He played college football at Clemson and was inducted into the school's Hall of Fame in 1981.
His brother Keith Waters attended Clemson on a baseball scholarship.
He was defensive coordinator for the Broncos from 1993 to 1994 under head coach Mike Shanahan.
