Guitarist who became popular for performing with the '80s funk group Cameo, best known for their hit "Word Up." He has recorded with other renowned artists including Will Smith, Tupac, Mariah Carey, Charlie Wilson, Kiara, Snoop Dog and more.
Before joining Cameo in 1981, he performed with other acts such as Billy Cobham, Cannonball Adderly and Stargasm.
He also enjoyed a solo career and released his first single "Modern Man" in 1985.
He's originally from New Orleans, Louisiana. He's nicknamed himself as "The Phantom."
He has recorded alongside their rapper Chaka Kahn.
