He was drafted 39th overall by the California Seals in the 1974 NHL Draft.
He netted 56 goals in back to back season: 1980 and 1981.
He was married to one-time Playboy Playmate of the Year Terri Welles and the couple had one daughter together.
He played in the 1981 NHL All Star Game with Kings Teammate Marcel Dionne.
