While studying at Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design, he was asked to design for Japanese menswear brand Non-No.
In 2010, he was selected as the international face of shoe brand Converse.
His great grandfather was politician and writer J. E. Casely Hayford.
He and Giles Deacon both studied at Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design.
