NHL center known for his defensive-minded play. He debuted with the Tampa Bay Lightning during the 2013-14 season and he helped the team reach the 2015 Stanley Cup Finals.
He played junior hockey in the QMAAA and QMJHL before being selected 101st overall in the 2012 NHL Draft by the Lightning.
He scored the game-winning goal in Game 3 of the Stanley Cup Finals to give the Lightning a 3-2 victory over the Chicago Blackhawks.
He was born in Gaspe, Quebec, Canada.
He became teammates with fellow center Tyler Johnson on the Lightning in 2014.
