Famous for her time as the princess and heir apparent to the throne of the Kingdom of the Netherlands. As the oldest daughter of Willem-Alexander of the Netherlands and Queen Maxima, she became the heir apparent upon her father's throne ascension in 2013.
Her father served in the Dutch military and served as a member of the International Olympics Committee. Her mother worked in finance before her 2002 marriage.
Her birthday is celebrated annually with a concert within The Hague. She was given a seat in the Advisory Division of the Council of State of the Netherlands upon her reaching age 18.
She has two younger sisters named Princess Alexia of the Netherlands and Princess Ariane.
Her paternal uncle is Prince Friso of The Netherlands.
