MLB infielder who debuted in 2008 for the Chicago Cubs. He went on to play for the Milwaukee Brewers, Pittsburgh Pirates and New York Yankees before joining the Miami Marlins in 2014.
He attended Fresno State University, not far from his hometown of Santa Cruz, California.
He hit three home runs in a single game on August 3, 2011.
He married Sarah McGehee and together, they had two kids, Mack and Cooper.
He narrowly defeated teammate Rickie Weeks for the Milwaukee Brewers' team MVP honors in 2010.
