She rose to prominence with a series of junior championship wins when she was in her mid-teens.
She signed sponsorship agreements with Adidas, Sony Ericsson and Turkish Airlines.
Her parents were both of Polish heritage, and both played competitive sports. She was engaged to golf star Rory McIlroy but the marriage was called off in May 2014. She got engaged to NBA player David Lee in 2017. They tied the knot in June of 2019. On June 11, 2021, they welcomed their daughter Olivia Wozniacki Lee.
She was defeated by Kim Clijsters in the final match at the 2009 US Open.
