Screenwriter best known for his work on the hit series, Home Improvement, which ran on ABC from 1991 to 1999.
He first entered the industry as an actor, appearing in primarily off-Broadway productions.
In 1984, he got his first screenwriting gig on TV's The Cosby Show.
He was born in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania and attended Bishop McDevitt High School and Penn State University.
He received two Golden Globe nominations and a plethora of Emmy wins for his work on Home Improvement, which starred actor Zachery Ty Bryan.
