She first began sharing photos to her personal Instagram, carly.oc, in June 2014.
She and her sister previously ran a YouTube channel, The Connell Twins, where they did challenges and vlogs.
She and Christy are identical twins; however she is five minutes older. They are of Australian and Indonesian descent and based in Canberra, Australia. They grew up with an older brother.
She and her sister have created duets with fellow twin TikTok creators Jhehan and Jhihan.
