Spanish young adult fiction novelist whose novels include Las luces de septiembre and Marina. He published his debut adult novel, The Shadow of the Wind, in 2010.
He debuted with The Prince of Mist, which won the Edebe literary prize in 1993.
In 2011, he published The Prisoner of Heaven.
He was born in Barcelona.
His novel The Angel's Game, sequel to The Shadow of the Wind, was translated by the daughter of poet Robert Graves, Lucia Graves.
