Former astronaut who became the vice president of the Orbital Sciences Corporation's Advanced Programs Group.
He studied physics at Kent State University and John Carroll University.
He received three NASA space flight medals.
He married Pamela J. Glady, with whom he had two children.
He and William Gregory were both members of NASA Astronaut Group 13 in 1990.
