Former child actor who became their for role as a young Spock in Star Trek III: The Search for Spoke and for his recurring roles on series like Punky Brewster. After retiring from acting as an adult, he fell prey to addiction and eventually died from a heroin overdose while serving time in prison for armed robbery.
He grew up in Glendale, California and first appeared as an actor on a 1981 episode of Little House on the Prairie.
He voiced Fred Jones on four seasons of the animated series A Pup Named Scooby-Doo.
He was married to Dawn Krakoff.
In one of his few feature film roles, he appeared alongside Rick Moranis in Disney's Honey, I Shrunk the Kids.
