Female badminton player who won a silver medal in the 2000 Summer Olympics in the singles event, also winning 13 consecutive Danish national championships.
She grew up in Aarhus, Denmark.
She was the second Danish woman ever to win the All England Open Badminton Championships and BWF World Championships.
Her father Bent Martin was a professional soccer goalkeeper.
She competed in the 2000 Olympics; the same year, Gu Jun won gold in badminton doubles for China.
