Became known from starring on MTV's popular reality series Teen Mom as the father of Tyler Baltierra and the step father of his girlfriend Catelynn Lowell.
He had a rough childhood and grew up doing drugs and drinking, which eventually spiraled into addiction.
His real name is Darl Baltierra but he is better known by his nickname Butch on the show.
He was previously married to Tyler's mother Kim. He later married his Teen Mom star Catelynn Lowell's mom April in 2009. They divorced a few years later in 2013 due to domestic abuse issues.
He started dating Teen Mom reality star Catelynn Lowell's mom after she and Tyler began dating. He became her step father during their short lived marriage.
