Rock and funk drummer who was part of Jimi Hendrix's band. He also worked as a producer for groups like Band of Gypsys.
He used to hang out at Rainbow Recording Studios. Also, he moved to Chicago and formed a band called The Electric Flag.
He has performed with Duke Ellington.
He grew up in Omaha, Nebraska.
He was given the nickname Buddy after Buddy Rich.
