Pop, R&B, and hip hop music producer and songwriter known for his collaborations with such artists as Rihanna, Nelly, Natasha Bedingfield, and Brandy.
He quickly gained recognition as a music producer following the 2006 release of Ciara: The Evolution.
His best-known musical collaborations include the Rihanna hit "Disturbia" and the Chris Brown single "Forever."
He and his four siblings were raised in Kansas City, Missouri. Between 1998 and 2002, he studied at his hometown's Paseo Academy of Performing Arts.
He earned a 2009 R&B Grammy Award for his work on Jennifer Hudson's debut album.
