Because of her 4'9" height and her song "Dynamite," her nickname was Little Miss Dynamite.
She married Ronnie Shacklett on April 24, 1963, and they had two children together, Jolie and Julie.
She had 47 US chart hits during the 1960s, a number surpassed only by Elvis, Ray Charles, and The Beatles in that decade.
