Bob Hartley
Hockey Coach
NHL coach who led the Colorado Avalanche to a Stanley Cup Championship in 2001. He became coach of the Calgary Flames in 2012 and he was awarded with the Jack Adams Trophy, the NHL's top coaching honor, in 2015.
He began his coaching career with a junior A team in his hometown of Hawkesbury, Ontario.
He began coaching the Atlanta Thrashers in 2003 and remained there until 2007 when he was fired after the team got off to a 0-6 start.
He has two children, Kristine and Steve, with his wife Micheline.
He coached Hall of Fame Center Joe Sakic on the Avalanche from 1998 to 2002.
