Blossom Seeley
Jazz Singer
American jazz and ragtime singer who was well-known on the vaudeville circuit. She was called the "Queen of Syncopation."
She recorded "Some of These Days" in 1910, one year before it was popularized by Sophie Tucker. She continued to have a successful recording career throughout the 1920s.
She had an extremely popular vaudeville act with Benny Fields, whom she later married.
She was married to Joe Kane from 1911 to 1913, baseball player Rube Marquard from 1913 to 1920, and Benny Fields from 1921 to 1959.
She had a number of successful appearances on the Ed Sullivan show.
