Professional pitcher that was drafted by Oakland Athletics during the seventh round of the 2011 MLB Draft. He was signed by the Los Angeles Dodgers in December 2019. He was a first time American League All-Star in 2018.
He began his professional career playing for the Athletics' single-A affiliate team the Stockton Ports.
He made his major league debut pitching against the Atlanta Braves on April 12, 2014 as a member of the Washington Nationals.
He lives with his wife, Kati, and their two children.
He won a World Series in 2020 playing alongside Cody Bellinger as a member of the Dodgers.
