Former fishing boat captain who is best remembered as a cast member on the Discovery reality show Deadliest Catch. He was found dead in his home in Astoria, Oregon in May 2018.
He grew up in Astoria. Fishing was the only job he ever had.
He received an award from the U.S. Coastguard for his assistance in rescuing tourists from the Empress of the North vessel.
His father Jeff was also a fishing boat captain.
Like Sig Hansen, he is a Deadliest Catch cast member who suffered an untimely death.
