She started acting while growing up and studied at Mt. Saint Mary's College in Los Angeles.
She survived cancer as a child and has since been active in the cancer recovery community.
She grew up in Kailua, a town just north of Honolulu, HI.
Ryan Lane played Travis Barnes, Cannon's character's ex-boyfriend, on Switched at Birth.
