Sports broadcaster who worked in radio and covered games for the Blazers before focusing his career primarily on the MLB and NHL.
He stuttered as a kid but still found work at a local radio station.
He announced for LSU football and basketball events as well as a few rodeos.
He was born to Walter and Juanita Schonely.
He and Dale Murphy were both inducted into the Oregon Sports Hall of Fame.
