Brent Hinds
Guitarist
Guitarist and singer for the Atlanta-based hard rock band Mastodon.
He started out playing the banjo and then adapted that fast finger-picking style of playing to his guitar playing.
For the first couple years with Mastodon, Hinds had a side job as a carpenter to make ends meet.
His parents divorced when he was ten years old; he grew up with siblings, Traci and Brad. He married Raisa Moreno in May 2017.
His playing style is heavily influenced by Jimmy Page.
