Forward who played for Colorado State University from 1960-1963, but could not play professionally due to a severe fear of flying.
He was an extremely talented high school player, before joining Colorado State.
In 1963 he was a second team All-American, becoming the first player in school history to earn that distinction.
He was born in Gadsden, Alabama.
Though his fear of flying kept him from playing for them, he was selected 8th overall in the 1963 draft by Red Auerbach and the Boston Celtics.
