American golfer who became the youngest player to make the cut in a U.S. Open since 1945 at the age of 17. He turned pro in 2016 with one year of college eligibility left.
He attended the University of Texas on a golf scholarship.
He was a winner on several US national team amateur competitions including: 2012 Junior Ryder Cup, 2014 Eisenhower Trophy, 2015 Palmer Cup and 2015 Walker Cup.
He is from Rancho Santa Margarita, California.
In his first PGA Tour playoff, he lost to Ian Poulter on the first extra hole.
