Signed by Geffen records in 1993, the band's 1994 self titled debut went multi-platinum with hits like "Buddy Holly" and "Say it Ain't So." The band went on a five year hiatus from 1996 to 2001.

Trivia

Their first gig was closing for Keanu Reeves' band Dogstar in 1992.
