Members Jared and Shannon Leto have been playing music together since childhood. The band won 19 awards from the Rock on Request Awards between 2007 and 2009. They also won 8 MTV Europe Music Awards between 2007 and 2014.

Trivia

They joined Linkin Park on the Carnivores Tour in 2014. This marks the last time they ever toured with Chester Bennington.
