Baseball player who is best known as the catcher for the Seattle Mariners and San Diego Padres.
He attended and played college baseball at Louisiana State University. He was drafted by the Miami Marlins in 2012. He then signed a minor league contract by the Seattle Mariners in 2018.
Before the 2020 trade deadline, the Mariners traded him to the Padres. He took the Padres to the Division League Series in 2020.
He was born and raised in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He is Italian-American, and his great-grandparents emigrated from Sicily to Baton Rouge. He is married to a woman named Michelle. They have one child Vincent Nola.
His brother is pitcher Aaron Nola.
