She signed with Sony BMG Music Indonesia and released her first album when she was 18 years old.
She collaborated with the Canadian duo Same Same on the song "Without You."
She married Iko Uwais, with whom she has a daughter. Her oldest brother is Stevie Item, guitarist for the band Andra and The BackBone.
She has worked closely with singer Bob Moffatt.
