Actress who is best known for appearing in the 2009 Indonesian film Jamila dan Sang Presiden (Jamila and the President). The film was submitted to the 82nd Academy Awards for Best Foreign Language Film, though not nominated.
She attended Monsah University in Melbourne, Australia. She studied media and psychology while a student there. She would act during her summers away from university in her mother's theater troupe.
In 2006, she made her feature film debut in Berbagi Suami (Love for Share). In 2011, the film Payung Merah (Red Umbrella), which she appeared in, won the Best Asian Short Film at the ScreenSingapore Festival.
She was born and raised in Jakarta, Indonesia. Her mother is the Batak playwright Ratna Sarumpaet. She is the youngest of four children.
She starred alongside Christine Hakim in the 2009 film Jamila and the President.
