She sang and danced ballet as the understudy for Barbie in Barbie in Fairytopia. Off-Broadway, she played the role of Éponine in Les Misérables at the Pittsburgh Civic Light Opera.
She married actor Jeremy Jordan on September 8, 2012. They welcomed a daughter named Clara Eloise together in April 2019.
She had a minor role in the 2014 film The Last Five Years, starring Anna Kendrick and her husband.
