Born Steven Rodriguez, he was a co-founder of A$AP Mob, a collaboration of rappers, producers, directors, and fashion designers.
He had an internship with Diplomats Records. He co-founded A$AP Mob when he was 17 years old with A$AP Bari and A$AP Illz.
With A$AP Mob, he was set to release a collaborative album called L.O.R.D., but it was scrapped in September of 2014.
He grew up in Harlem, New York. In November 2016, his mother Tatianna Paulino shared an emotional essay about her son's passing.
He worked with A$AP Rocky in A$AP Mob.
