Arthur B. Robinson
Biologist
Biochemist who was a Republican candidate from Oregon's 4th congressional district for the U.S. House of Representatives in 2010. He was the co-founcer of the Institute of Orthomolecular Medicine, which was later renamed the Linus Pauling Institute.
He attended Cal Tech before attaining a Ph.D. in biochemistry from the University of California, San Diego in 1968.
He was an editor of the newsletter Access to Energy.
He married Laurelee Robinson, who had six children by him.
He and fellow scientist Robert Bruce Merrifield both worked with the Oregon Institute of Science and Medicine.
