Famous jazz musician, teacher, historian, and ambassador for Columbus, Ohio.
He played trumpet in his high school's marching band and went on to take classes at Capital University.
He started his own band, Arnett Howard's Creole Funk Band, which performed from 1988 to 2002.
He was born in Welch, West Virginia but his family moved to Ohio when he was young.
He has played a lot of funk music, like George Clinton.
