Wife of Martin Luther King III, the elder son of Martin Luther King Jr. and Coretta Scott King. She has championed nonviolence education and social change issues.
She studied psychology at Emory University.
In February 2021, she was a guest on a special Black History Month episode of the Impact Podcast with John Shegerian.
Her daughter Yolanda Renee King was born on May 25, 2008.
Her daughter was named after Yolanda King, her husband's sister who died in 2007.
