Antonis Samaras
Politician
Politician who began leading the Greek New Democracy party in 2009 and took office in 2012 as Prime Minister of Greece. He had previously served his country as Minister of Finance and Minister of Foreign Affairs.
At age seventeen, he won the Greek Teen Tennis Championship.
He founded a political party called Political Spring that was even more right-leaning than his original party, New Democracy.
He married Georgia Kretikos in 1990 and they raised two kids named Kostas and Lena Samaras. His great-grandfather, Stefanos Delta, founded Athens College.
He succeeded George Papandreou as the Prime Minister of Greece.
