NFL cornerback who was selected by the Buffalo Bills in the first round of the 1999 NFL draft. After five years with the Bills, he played for the Minnesota Vikings from 2004 to 2012.
He was a Jim Thorpe Award winner and All-American during his senior year at The Ohio State University.
He had his first All-Pro season in 2008, during which he racked up 95 tackles, two sacks, and an interception for the Minnesota Vikings.
He lost his younger brother, Anthony Travis, to gun violence in 2012.
He was teammates with quarterback Daunte Culpepper on the Vikings from 2004 to 2005.
