Professional catcher that was drafted by the Philadelphia Phillies during the second round of the 2013 MLB Draft. In 2015, he won the Paul Owens Award for being the Phillies' best minor league player.
He began his professional career playing for the Phillies' rookie affiliate team the Williamsport Crosscutters.
He made his major league debut playing against the Cincinnati Reds on April 6, 2017.
He and his wife, Hannah, were married in November 2018.
He recorded his first career hit facing Stephen Strasburg on April 9, 2017.
