Professional pitcher that was drafted by the Miami Marlins during the first round of the 2012 MLB Draft. He was traded to the New York Yankees on July 30, 2021.
He attended Oklahoma State University, where he was named Big 12 Conference Baseball Pitcher of the Year in 2012.
He made his major league debut pitching against the New York Mets on June 19, 2014 as a member of the Marlins.
He is a native of Oklahoma City. He grew up living with his parents, Mark Heaney and Chris Kenney, and with his two siblings.
He played alongside Mike Trout and Shohei Ohtani as a member of the Los Angeles Angels in 2020.
