Andrew Brunette

Former NHL left winger who is best remembered for his time with the Minnesota Wild from 2001 to 2004 and 2008 to 2011. He also played with the Nashville Predators, Atlanta Thrashers, Washington Capitals, Colorado Avalanche and Chicago Blackhawks.
He played for the Rayside-Balfour Canadians in the Northern Ontario Junior Hockey League from 1989 to 1990 then was a member of the Owen Sound Platers of the OHL from 1990 to 1993.
He retired after the 2011-12 season with a total of 268 goals and 465 assists in his 1,110-game NHL career.
He grew up in Valley East, Ontario.
He and right winger Marian Gaborik were two of the leaders of the Wild in the 2000s.
